The 37-year-old presenter was on the sofa with Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer when the awkward gaffe happened, and she had the pair jumping up and down with excitement at the news.
After explaining that there is a £50,000 cash prize which the winning couple share between them at the end of the series, Flack seemed to struggle on how to proceed next as she realised she might have let the cat out of the bag live on air.
“If you saw it last year, the couple… there’s a point where they…um… Actually it might change this year so I better not say it,” she hastily finished.
But Lovejoy and Rimmer jumped on the faux pas as they began cheering and jumping up and down.
“Newspapers get on that! Hello! Yes, we’ve got the exclusive! Come on Simon let’s dance,” Lovejoy shouted.
Luckily, Flack saw the funny side in their response, as she seemed to find the Channel 4 hosts’ antics hilarious.
“That’s all you wanted!” she said, as Lovejoy carried on chanting, “There it is, there it is”.
The ITV presenter eventually tried to calm the pair down and get back to talking about the details of the show.
“But do you know what, actually we’re nosy aren’t we, we like talking about other people’s relationships, all the time,” she continued.
When the Sunday Brunch hosts initially suggested that contestants on the reality programme could play a tactical game to win the money, Flack disagreed.
“Yeah but how long can you pretend to like someone for? I can’t, I could probably pretend to like someone for about two days and then cracks would start to show, wouldn’t they? You can’t pretend,” she explained.
