Star Wars news: Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley to make 'BIG announcement' on US TV TOMORROW

Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley are expected on Good Morning America tomorrow – Tuesday April 11 – to unleash some supposedly big news.

A trailer promises: “Tomorrow on GMA, Star Wars celebrates its 40th anniversary and we’ve got an announcement you won’t want to miss.

“Because when you hear it, you’ll want to be part of this Force!

“Tomorrow, Luke Skywalker and Rey together with the Star Wars announcement 40 years in the making, on GMA.”

What exactly that announcement is remains a mystery, but speculation is unsurprisingly rife on Reddit.

“My guess is a Force for Change announcement like they did for the past two years,” one person speculated.

Someone else mused: “Worst case scenario: they’ll just announce the trailer will be released on Friday. Best case scenario: unaltered Star Wars trilogy to be rereleased in HD. A boy can dream, can’t he?”

Good Morning America airs from 7am to 9am from Times Square, New York, meaning the UK times will be between 12 midday and 2pm.
