Star Wars news: Is THIS Darth Vader’s role in the Young Han Solo movie?

Last year fans were treated to more than just a cameo of the Sith Lord in Rogue One – his first big screen appearance since 2005’s Revenge of the Sith.

However many have been wondering whether Darth Vader will play a part in the next  anthology spin off, the Young Han Solo movie, which is also set in between Episode III and IV.

Now Star Wars expert Mike Zeroh has revealed how the villain’s next cameo could naturally fit into the 2018 movie, , and future instalments.

In his new YouTube video, he points out how Han Solo started life out in the Imperial army, according to the Star Wars Expanded Universe – something he thinks the studio is exploring.

He says: “Now we have heard that they may stick with something from the old EU [expanded universe] where Han Solo was in the Imperial army.

“If they were to go down that way, I think that would be a perfect way to introduce Darth Vader once again.”

He added: “I don’t think it’s necessarily going to happen, but we will get Darth Vader once again in another anthology film.

“I think what Disney and Lucasfilm’s plan is it have him appear in every other anthology film.

“When we’re looking ahead I think that we’re definitely going to see more Darth Vader, without a doubt.”

He concluded: “I really don’t believe that this is the last we’re going to see of him.”

After all, Disney CEO Bob Iger said that Star Wars films, along with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, are going to go on forever.

The Young Han Solo Star Wars Anthology movie will be released in UK cinemas in December 2018.
