Star Wars 9: Daisy Ridley reveals BIG Kylo Ren teaser? ‘He thinks he’s doing right’

Star Wars: The Last Jedi followed Rey (Ridley) as she tried to bring Kylo (Adam Driver) back from the Dark Side – to no avail.

In fact, Kylo ended the movie at his darkest point yet – seeming to fully embrace darkness.

But is there still hope for him? In a new interview, Ridley has hinted there is.

Speaking in a Facebook Live video for the official Star Wars page, she disagreed that her character’s hopeful nature is to her detriment.

“I don’t think so, because I think he [Kylo] is redeemable,” she insisted.

“There is a moment where is redeemable.”

Referring to the shock death of Snoke (Andy Serkis), she went on: “He does the right thing for a moment even though the right thing is a terrible thing in the grand scheme of things – to kill another person.

“He does the right thing just then in order to help her – and I’m not saying what he does is right, but he does think what he’s doing is the right thing.

“He’s not like, ‘oh, I’m so evil.’”

Both Rey and Kylo will be seen in the trilogy’s climactic chapter, Episode 9 – due for release in late 2019.

It goes into production this summer, after JJ Abrams stepped back in to direct, having previously helmed Episode 7.

The Last Jedi, meanwhile, is out on DVD and Blu-ray on April 9.
