Back in April the first trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi landed, but with no sign of Snoke.
Recently director Rian Johnson has teased how the villain is a character he doesn’t really “get into” in the sci-fi sequel.
Fans have been speculating for months over Snoke’s true identity, with some wondering if he’s connected to the Emperor or Darth Vader – while others think he’s totally new.
Now an exciting first picture of his LEGO mini-figure has leaked, giving a first look at what he’ll look like beyond that hologram we saw in The Force Awakens.
Three new LEGO mini-figures from The Last Jedi have been leaked on Reddit including Finn and a First Order officer with BB-9 (BB-8’s evil sort-of-brother).
However the most exciting picture was that of Supreme Leader Snoke, portrayed in his regular form, as opposed to his hologram in The Force Awakens.
Interestingly he’s wearing some golden robes that look very much like something a Jedi would wear. A recent theory argued that Snoke is in fact The Last Jedi, as the last remaining original Force user.
The Reddit user wrote: “What if what we know as Jedi are not really Jedi after all? What if Snoke is the last Jedi, in its original form?”
Commentators have immediately pointed out this would mean he must be around 25,000 years old, since the current Jedi Knights were supposed to have protected the galaxy for over “one thousand generations.”
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi will be released in UK cinemas on December 14, 2017.
