Star Wars 8 The Last Jedi: Daisy Ridley SPEAKS OUT on Snoke and Rey – She seeks him out?

Of all the big questions surrounding Star Wars: The Last Jedi the biggest mysterious are the true identities of Snoke and Rey.

Now in a new interview Rey actress Ridley has spoken out on what to expect of their relationship.

Speaking with USA Today, the 25-year-old star said: “He looks mental. Snoke is an evil guy, if you can call him a guy.”

But when it came to that scene in the latest trailer where Snoke is Force choking Rey in his throne room, she said admitted something very revealing.

Ridley said: “It was painful. My throat hurt after that one. Snoke is one of those tests for Rey. And when I say testing, it’s the worst use of testing ever.”

So was this in fact not a torture scene but a test that Rey goes through, perhaps even some sort of…training?

Star Wars theorist Mike Zeroh weighed in: “Rey goes to Snoke intentionally, as this form of a test in this motion picture.”

He pointed out how Rian Johnson said all of the major characters will be going through a test, without their buddies to save them.

The theorist continued: “So in this scenario, Rey is locked in Snoke’s throne room and this is her test against Supreme Leader Snoke himself.”

Zeroh added: “This could very well determine whether or not she stays with the Light or goes down the Dark path, or at the very least is tempted by the Dark Side of the Force.”

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi will be released in UK cinemas on December 14, 2017.
