Star Wars 8 in SEX SCENE shock? The Last Jedi flagged for 'racy moment’ and ‘nudity’

If there’s one thing you don’t expect from one of the saga’s movies, it’s love-making. But will Episode 8 change all that?

As reported by journalist Brian Lloyd on Twitter, the film has been given an IFCO rating of 12A.

The reason? “Moderate violence and mild sex/nudity and language.”

The classification was given last week on November 21, but has only just started to generate attention online.

The official page on the IFCO website, sure enough, ticks the “Mild” box for both “Sex/Nudity” and “Language” – while the “Drugs” box is ticked “None”.

What’s important to note, however, is that Episode 7: The Force Awakens was flagged for the exact same thing.

Back in 2015, JJ Abrams’ comeback entry to the iconic Skywalker story also ticked “Mild” for “Sex/Nudity”, and – unless we’re counting droids and a nude Chewbacca – there was none to be seen.

So is it the same situation with The Last Jedi? Or has Rian Johnson made space a little bit steamier?

Whatever the answer, there’s not much longer to find out: The Last Jedi is out on December 14 in the UK.

The cast are doing swathes of interviews in the lead-up: Daisy Ridley was on Good Morning America yesterday, while Mark Hamill was on Ellen. Many more are to come.
