Skin cancer: Hairdressers and beauticians being trained to spot killer disease

HAIRDRESSERS and beauticians are being trained to spot skin cancer in a bid to reduce the number of young people dying from the disease. Under a new initiative, hair and beauty therapists will be taught how to spot unusual skin growths and lesions – and advise their clients to seek medical help.
