Simon & Schuster Cancel Milo Yiannopoulos’s Book Deal Following Pederasty Video Allegations

It seems that Simon & Schuster has finally reached its limit with the antics of promising young author Milo Yiannopoulos: pedophilia, it appears, is the final frontier! After footage surfaced yesterday of Yiannopoulos saying that “you can get quite hung up on this child abuse thing” and that “younger boys” having sex with older men could be a “coming-of-age relationship … in which those older men help those younger boys discover who they are,” he was quickly ditched as a speaker at the American Conservative Union’s CPac conference, and it appears that Simon & Schuster have followed suit, cancelling his book deal:

Yiannopoulos has complained that the videos in question were selectively edited to give a false impression, which may or may not be true — but either way, given that selective and disingenuous use of media has been a hallmark of the alt-right movement with which he has associated himself, one might say he is hoist by his own petard. More details as we get them.
