Seven Year Switch: Contestant threatens to QUIT over sex fears 'Stop filming now!’

The first episode of the new series saw four couples fly out to Thailand to meet their new partner for the first time.

However, upon arrival they discovered that there was only one bed available to each couple.

Furious that his wife Gemma may be sharing a bed with another man, Tony threatened to quit just moments after arriving at the luxury villa.

Tony fumed at the camera crew: “Stop recording! I’m going home!

“I want to go home seriously you might as well stop recording.

“I’ll pay for my own flight home and get Gemma with me!”

The contestant was then paid an emergency visit by therapist Lee Valls.

Lee questioned whether Tony was worried about his wife sharing about, or more concerned that he had the same option of sharing a bed.

Tony replied: “I need to make sure Gemma is aware of it and is happy with it. I’m quite angry about it!”

Tony was then offered a short phone call after Lee spoke with Gemma.

He continued: “Gemma, I’m not doing this. Were going home. We’ll pay privately. I’m not happy and I want to go home!”

Viewers instantly took to social media, with one tweeting: “Gemma should book him the flight back home and stay lol #sevenyearswitch.”

“Just top-tail! 2 adults, sharing a bed, is not a big deal. Weird, indoctrinated, symbolic superstition! I’d share in a heartbeat! #7yearswitch #SevenYearSwitch,” posted another.

A third added: “Ok, am I being thick here – but you can share a bed without having sex right? #sevenyearswitch.”

“I don’t get the big deal, just sleep on the sofa! You’re swapping lives for two weeks surely sleeping on the sofa is the least of the issues #sevenyearswitch,” wrote another.

A fifth added: “Oh dear, Tony is losing his control, so is spitting his dummy out and wants to go home… tool! #sevenyearswitch.”

Seven Year Switch continues next Tuesday on at 9.15pm.
