Sally Field reacts to the death of her 4-time co-star Burt Reynolds

  • Burt Reynolds died on Thursday at 82 years old. 
  • In a statement to INSIDER, Sally Field (who starred in four movies with Reynolds and dated him) said: “There are times in your life that are so indelible, they never fade away. They stay alive, even 40 years later.”
  • She added: “My years with Burt never leave my mind. He will be in my history and my heart, for as long as I live. Rest, Buddy.”
