Ruth Langsford left ’emotional’ after tribute to late Loose Women co-star: ‘Hard to watch’

In her final television appearance on Loose Women, the mother-of-two spoke candidly about her life with Coleen Nolan, 55, and Janet Street-Porter, 73.

When asked by the former how she wanted to be remembered once she’d passed away, Lynda said: “Just as an honest person.

“Honesty. We’ve been through this as Loose Women – you can’t do Loose Women unless you’re honest. You can’t hide anything, it really is honest when we answer questions.

“Trust is a huge thing. Not just as an actor, not just as a lover, not just as a wife, that trust thing. Just to say you could trust her.”

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
