Ruth Langford PANICS as she does THIS to priceless James Bond memorabilia

The 57-year-old ITV presenter looked worried after she accidentally touched a priceless prop from a James Bond film and worn by Sir Roger Moore.

During a segment about the movie memorabilia, Ruth and co-host Eamonn Holmes were seen chatting about iconic props from Hollywood blockbusters.

They were seen wearing white gloves as they handled the various items, which included a Superman costume worn by Christopher Reeves, an outfit from Alien and a Terminator mannequin.

One of the pieces set to be going up for auction was a hat worn by the late Sir Roger Moore in the 1977 film The Spy Who Loved Me.

Ruth was seen picking up the naval hat, before she quickly panicked as she realised she wasn’t wearing the special gloves.

“Oh my god, I’m not supposed to touch it!” she exclaimed as she quickly handed it over to Eamonn, 58, who was more suitably attired.

“I’m so sorry!” she quickly apologised to guest and Prop Store CEO Stephen Lane, who owned the items and whose company would be selling the hat off to collectors.

Ruth hastily put her gloves back on as Eamonn asked if he could wear the hat, leading to some nervousness as Stephen watched on.

When asked whether the sad death of Sir Roger back in May would increase the value of the hat, Stephen explained: “It’s not something that we like to reflect upon too much. It really is about being a significant piece in its own right originally.”

He continued: “When something like this so sadly happens, it certainly raises the profile again and people come back and re-visit and re-watch the movies.”

The hat is set to fetch between £5,000 to £7,000 when it goes under the hammer next month, along with a whole host of other memorabilia
