A Russian daredevil managed to outwit police in a high-speed pursuit, ramming and dodging the police cars before making a dramatic off-road getaway, leaked dashcam footage revealed.
In a police dashcam video shared by Telegram viral news channel Mash, the suspect leads police on a chase through Russia’s Voronezh region. Ignoring the cops’ demands to stop, the driver artfully dodges his pursuers, and skilfully nudges one of their cars into a roadside ditch.
The other police car keeps up the chase, as the suspect wrings every drop of power out of his struggling Lada Samara. A police officer is heard threatening to shoot, but for some reason he never does, at least on camera.
Eventually, the fugitive comes to a stop down a rutted country lane, and police rush in on foot to arrest him. Instead, the suspect slams his car into reverse, rams the police car behind him, and makes his escape, leaving the officers in the dust.
