Royal Wedding: Meghan Markle uses THIS ancient trick to calm ‘pre-wedding jitters’

The royal wedding of Meghan Markle, 36, and Prince Harry, 33, will take place on 19 May 2018 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, and it is believed Meghan is privately preparing herself for the big day.

While marrying a member of the royal family will no doubt be stressful, Meghan is said to use an ancient technique which comes from ato keep herself calm.

The LA born former actress practices mindfulness and meditation, explained Julie Montagu, who is a member of the British aristocracy.

Julie holds the official title of Viscountess Hinchingbrooke, having married Luke Montagu, Viscount of Hinchingbrooke. She is also a London based yoga and nutrition teacher.

She told “Meditation and mindfulness are two fantastic tools for tackling stress – and these are self-care acts that both Meghan Markle and myself love to engage in.”

The technique have roots in ancient Buddhist tradition in India. Similar kinds of meditation were practised in ancient Greece too.

Julie explained a little more about what Meghan’s techniques include: “Mindfulness centres around the ideas of being fully present in each moment and giving your energy and attention to that which is going on around you.

“It helps you to live life with purpose and develop a greater sense of self.”

You could even practice mindfulness during your daily shower, Julie continued.

“For example, when you take a shower in the morning, focus your mind on what you are doing and why you are doing it.

“Explain the sensations, the smells, and the sounds to yourself and contemplate how your actions are making you feel.

You could also do it while applying body lotion, she said. “Creating a ritual for yourself surrounding normal everyday tasks is an effortless way to embrace mindfulness.

“Spend five minutes each morning and five minutes each night applying Nivea Q10 + C – a new and improved version of Meghan’s favourite Q10 Body Firming lotion to your skin.”

Meditation is equally easy to fit into your everyday lifestyle, she added. “Finding just ten minutes during your day to be alone with your thoughts and focus on your breath can go a long way to keeping stress at bay.

Although seated meditations are a popular choice, you can also try walking meditation or simply closing your eyes at your desk and engaging in a simple deep breathing technique.

Will Meghan Markle be a duchess or a countess when she marries Prince Harry? It is expected she will get a royal title following their wedding on May 19 2018.

Grant Harrold, known as The Royal Butler, has worked in the role for HRH Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, so knows a thing or two about royal business.

He told exclusively that Meghan Markle could be given the title countess – the feminine version of the earl title.

Grant said: “It’s a personal thing for the royal family to decide. Charles is a duke and Prince Andrew is a duke but the youngest was given the Earl of Wessex. Because Harry’s the youngest one they could go for an earldom.”

However, Grant believes the title is most likely to be Duke and Duchess of some sort.

Julie Montagu is working with NIVEA on the launch of their new NIVEA Q10 Plus C Body Firming Lotion. The original NIVEA Q10 Firming Body Lotion was hailed as Meghan Markle’s can’t live without beauty product* and it’s got even better with two powerful antioxidants – Coenzyme Q10 together with added Vitamin C.
