Riviera season 1: Meet the star-studded cast led by Game of Thrones' Iwan Rheon

The 10-part programme, which was created by Oscar-winning writer and director Neil Jordan, is part compelling family drama and part high-octane crime series. 

It will focus on Georgina, a mid-western US girl who is the widow of billionaire Constantine Clios. 

When her husband dies, she learns he had ties to crime, including murder, and enters a spiral of moral descent as she too becomes immersed in a world of lies and criminality. 

With Riviera set to air on Sky Atlantic later this summer, here’s our guide to the star-studded cast and their rich alter egos. 

Adam Clios – Iwan Rheon

Iwan is worlds away from his masochistic character Ramsay Bolton as . He hopes to lead a simple lifestyle as a writer.

While he has rejected his family’s opulent lifestyle, inside resentment bubbles away, pushing him over the edge as the forgotten son who may hold the key to finding out the truth behind his father’s death. 

Georgina Clios – Julia Stiles

Hollywood actress Julia stars as the smart and resourceful second wife of Constantine. After her husband dies in mysterious circumstances in a yacht explosion, she begins a journey into the dark world he lived in. 

Irina Atman – Lena Olin

Oscar nominee Lena, who has previously appeared in Chocolat and Vinyl, portrays Constantine’s first wife and Adam’s mother Irina. Following her ex’s death, she heads the Riviera to asset her power and position unleashing a maelstrom of emotion. 

Constantine Clios – Anthony LaPaglia

Taking on the role of Constantine is Anthony, a billionaire philanthropist and head of Clios Bank. When he is killed off, the dark truths about how he maintained his lifestyle emerge throwing his wife into a world of crime. 

Christos Clios – Dimitri Leonidas

Christos is Constantine’s son and inheritor of his position as the head of the Clios empire. But, after his death, he realises how much of a poisoned chalice that is and the responsibility that is placed on him begins to affect him. 

Adriana Clios – Roxane Duran 

French-Austrian actress Roxane stars as Constantine’s youngest child Adriana, who is a complex and troubled character. She brings her fractured family together but her plan falls to pieces when she’s thrown into the dark about a family secret. 

Robert Carver – Adrian Lester

Adrian Lester takes on the role of Robert, an old friend of Georgina who rose through the ranks of illegitimate art dealing, selling forgeries and stolen paintings. Adrien will also direct two episodes from the series. 

Karim Delormes – Amr Waked

Karim, an inspector from the Nice police force is played by Amr Waked. He thinks of himself as the saviour of the Riviera and has always dreamed of catching the bad guy. 

Jakob Negrescu – Igal Naor

Igal Naor stars as Jakob, the former head of security for Constantine. After leaving the Clios family, he found himself on the wrong side of the law and quickly rose through the underworld of the Riviera to sit atop a mountain of drugs, prostitution and violence. 

Jukes – Phil Davis

Meet Jakob, played Phil Davis, who is a British art fraud investigator trying to get to the heart of Constantine’s financial misdealings. He is on a mission to expose the corruption of the wealthy. 

Riviera is set to air on Sky Atlantic later this year.
