Riverdale fans tip 13 Reasons Why star to return to cast: ‘Reggie’s secret cousin?’

Unfortunately, Ross’s commitments to 13 Reasons Why, as high school student Zach Dempsey, meant he couldn’t return for Riverdale’s second season.

Reggie was subsequently replaced by Charles Melton in further seasons and promoted to series regular alongside Apa, Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper), Cole Sprouse (Jughead Jones) and Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge).

However, the divisive conclusion of 13 Reasons Why has set off radars for fans of both series, who have suggested Ross could reprise his role of Reggie.
