According to the latest reports Red Dead Redemption 2 release news is set to be revealed in a new live-action trailer.
A film crew has allegedly been spotted in in the Fort Peck Indian Reservation area of Montana, which apparently fits the description of RDR2.
Footage apparently includes a Wild West setting featuring two cowboys fighting with what looks to be a train in the background.
A member of the film crew reportedly confirmed that it was being worked on for a new gaming project that is a sequel in a famous franchise, planned for release later this year.
This new rumour should be taken with a grain of salt, with none of the information being provided by Rockstar, who have yet to give an update since Red Dead Redemption 2 was officially revealed.
The game is now only months away from its release window, leading some to believe it could be delayed.
This appears to be solely based on nothing new being shared by Rockstar, who are also not known for creating live-action trailers.
However, if this latest report does prove true, fans can expect a lot of information to arrive with the new trailer, with later this summer the most likely time for its release.
There are those who hope for something to be shown during E3 2017, although Rockstar aren’t known for releasing much during the LA expo.
The latest news concerning the studio is actually linked to a completely different project, one that would bring back an old franchise.
A leaker connected with GTA Online has revealed that Bully is in development and will be the next big release, following the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Yan2295 posted the news on a popular Rockstar forum, although nothing official has been revealed by the company itself.
It follows some pretty crushing news for the GTA 5 modding community, following the announcement that a big Red Dead Redemption project has been canned.
Red Dead Redemption V aimed to integrate the original RDR map into Grand Theft Auto 5. However, it appears that following being contacted by Take-Two, the team decided to end the mod.
“I know this is hard pill to swallow, but as you may have noticed we did get contacted , and we sadly have to say we are stopping this project,” wrote the mod’s lead programmer.
“So thanks guys, we were all so happy to see this, but it isn’t going to happen, sorry.”
The news came on the same day the new project’s first trailer was released, the video footage was also quickly taken down, meaning many fans never got to see it.
Red Dead Redemption V was only supposed to be used for single player mode, with the team stating that they did not condone the use of the mod in GTA Online, nor third party multiplayer clients.
