Amazon Prime now has 95 million members in the US, according to surveys conducted by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners, LLC (CIRP), marking 12% annual growth. This reflects a decrease from the 35% growth seen between 2016 and 2017, and a drop from the approximate 50% year-over-year (YoY) growth seen in the previous two years. Based on this trend of deceleration as well as conversion and retention rates for new members, CIRP expects Prime membership growth to continue to slow.
