Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold his annual televised question-and-answer session on June 7, his press service said. The session has been scheduled ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which kicks off on June 14. Traditionally, the Q&A mostly focuses on domestic issues, such as healthcare and economic development, but the Russian leader also often comments on the country’s global affairs. Putin’s first Q&A session was held in December 2001. The Russian president usually spends three to four hours answering several dozen questions.
