Pokemon Go Legendary Raid UPDATE: Raikou, Entei, Suicune are on the move

developer Niantic is mixing up the latest Legendary Raids.

After Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Lugia left Pokemon Go on August 31, Niantic introduced new Legendary Raids featuring Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.

Raikou, Entei, and Suicune will appear in Legendary Pokemon Raids over the coming months, but not in the same region at the same time.

European players will be able to battle and capture Entei until September 30, American players can catch Raikou, while trainers in the Asia-Pacific region can find Suicune.

The Legendary Pokemon will move to a new location from September 30 until October 31, before moving to their final region on October 31.

Niantic is yet to reveal what time the changes will take or place or where the Legendary Pokemon will appear next.

“Which of these Legendary Johto Pokémon are you hoping will come to your region next?” the tweet reads.

Pokemon Go updates typically take place later on in the UK, which means fans should have the afternoon to catch the original Legendaries.

In terms of weaknesses, Entei is a fire type Pokemon, which means Golems, Omastars and Vaporeons should be used.

Raikou, meanwhile, is an electric Pokemon. Raikou can therefore be taken down by the likes of Rhydon, Golem, Donphan and Sandslash.

As for water Pokemon Suicune, fans should use Zapdos, Exeggutor and Venusaur to take it down.

And speaking of Legendary Raids, trainers from the UK, Spain, Brazil, Sweden, Netherlands, France, Poland, South Africa and India have just been sent Ex Raid Battle invites.

The UK Raids will take place in the likes of Guildford, Taunton and Lichfield.

Interestingly, the latest batch of Ex Raids won’t just take place in sponsored locations like Starbucks.

This means fans up and down the country can potentially capture Mewtwo.
