Pokemon Go DOWN: Server Status offline for Trainer Club players

Niantic have confirmed that there are issues tonight for those Pokemon Go players trying to sign in using Trainer Club.

“We’re currently investigating reports that Trainers using Pokémon Trainer Club are encountering login issues,” A Niantic support message reads.

That was posted over an hour ago, and there hasn’t been any further updates on what has caused tonight’s outage.

It appears that the problem is being caused by Sign In issues, rather than all Pokemon Go servers being down.

Further updates are expected from Niantic, who usually post more information when issues have been resolved.

Players have been without access for over an hour tonight, with problems starting in the evening for UK Trainers.

It appears that players logging into the game using different means and account have not been affected by tonight’s sign in issues.

While reports of issues logging in are going down, many are still reporting problems with the Pokemon Go servers tonight.

Unfortunately for those affected, Niantic have not posted any kind of ETA on when today’s issues could be resolved by.

Niantic have also announced a new range of events being worked on, which includes the returning Pokemon Go Fest in Chicago.

It was recently announced that a new Pokemon Go Summer 2018 Tour, is taking place in the US and Europe.

Pokemon Go Fest will be returning to Chicago’s Lincoln Park on July 14 and July 15.

“Pokemon GO Fest 2018: A Walk in the Park will offer a unique, immersive play experience unseen anywhere else that will create a daylong adventure for Trainers,” a Niantic post reads.

“The event will be held in the city’s historic Lincoln Park, with a 1.8-mile walking course that, among the tree-lined greenery, will include exclusive activities for Trainers of all ages.”
