Piers Morgan takes on killer in heated prostitute debate ‘You're taking it out of context'

Good Morning Britain’s presenter Piers Morgan interviewed serial killer Lorenzo Gilyard in his latest crime exposé.

Lorenzo is currently serving a life sentence in the United States for killing 13 women, most of whom were prostitutes.

Despite being one of the most notorious criminals in Florida, Lorenzo still insists that he is innocent.

Piers, 52, broached the subject of prostitution with Lorenzo, trying to determine where he stood on the profession.

He asked: “What is your view of prostitution?”

“I don’t have no view,” Lorenzo began. “That was how they worked to make their money I guess.”

Piers continued pressing the inmate: “You didn’t find it a repellent profession? Have you ever had sex with a prostitute?”

“I don’t know? Women that might have been working streets at night might have been in clubs,” Lorenzo replied.

Unsatisfied with this response, Piers tried a different angle, asking: “Have you ever paid women for sex?”

Lorenzo replied: “No… If she looked good enough. I don’t know man… Basically, you pay for sex all the time when you buy them a drinks, dinner, take her out, anything.”

Shocked by what he just heard, Piers cut in saying: “So you think all women are prostitutes? Explain what you meant.”

However this caused the killer to become agitated, attempting to leave the interview.

He snapped: “No I didn’t say that – you’re taking things out of context.”

“I don’t think I am taking things out of context,” Piers replied calmly.

“If you want to clarify that please clarify that.”
