Piers Morgan pleads with Meghan Markle for reunion ahead of wedding: 'I'm heartbroken'

The presenter was teasing  about receiving direct messages on social media when she turned the topic of conversation to his messages to the Suits star.

“What about your DM’s with ?” she asked Piers Morgan.

Piers quickly corrected her: “Actually, she slipped into my DM’s. She said she was a big fan.”

However, the 52-year-old noted that they had stopped talking to one another.

“That’s why I feel so heartbroken that she has ditched me,” he confessed.

Mocking the presenter, Susanna asked: “Was this pre-Harry or post-Harry?”

“Pre-Harry,” he simply replied before begging her to rekindle their friendship.

Piers continued: “She could pop down and we could make it alright.”

The father-of-four then joked that he would be invited to her wedding to Prince Harry, where he would object to their marriage.

“When they ask if anyone objects, I would say, ‘I do’, I thought I was that guy,” he laughed.

It came after Piers joked fellow ITV presenter Charlotte Hawkins was responsible for ending Brendan Cole’s Strictly Come Dancing career.

After mocking weatherman Alex Beresford’s efforts on Dancing On Ice, he turned to the 42-year-old and said: “Don’t you get involved!”

“I’m keeping quiet,” Charlotte replied.

Piers continued: “You ended Brendan Cole’s career!” as Charlotte covered her mouth in shock.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
