Phillip Schofield makes announcement as he prepares for career move away from This Morning

Instead of Phillip and Holly manning the helm over on This Morning, Eamonn Holmes, 60, and Ruth Langsford, 60, are on hosting duties.

Just like their co-stars, they won’t be presenting on Fridays, with a whole manner of guest stars stepping into the role.

Viewers are already missing the original hosting duo, with one writing on Twitter: “I’m gonna miss Phillip and Holly show so much #ThisMorning.”

“#ThisMorning Thank You, Phillip and Holly, for your company during this strangest of times….you’ve helped us make sense of things and kept us smiling….God Bless xx,” another added.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV. The Cube returns later this year on ITV.
