Phillip Schofield left red-faced after Holly Willoughby hilariously mispronounces 'pink'

Following on from a discussion about whether Haribo eggs are in fact UFOs, Phillip and Holly discussed other sweets that didn’t look like what they’re advertised as.

After Holly was astounded that Monster Munch crisps, which are thought to look like hands, are actually supposed to be whole monsters, the 36-year-old passionately defended the snack’s visual identity.

Clearly already in a cheeky mood, the mother-of-three then read out a viewer’s contribution to the topic, with hilarious results.

The blonde beauty could only manage ‘My son thinks pink mushrooms…” before giggling too much to carry on.

Once apparently composed, she continued: “…Thinks sp*nk punk mushrooms.”

Upon hearing the rude slang word, Phillip was left visually shocked, turning his head to laugh at his co-star’s mishap.

It wasn’t long before Holly was left to compose herself again whilst Phillip watched, seemingly waiting for another hilarious mistake.

Ever the professional, Holly was able to finish the reader’s comment, saying: “My son thinks pink mushrooms are nipples.

“I nearly choked eating one when he asked me for another nipple,” finished the This Morning presenter before allowing herself another giggle.
