Peter Kay’s Car Share: Fans notice THIS hilariously ‘filthy’ blunder as BBC show returns

While the BBC programme was met with praise from fans, many could not help but notice the state of the comedian’s car, especially its rear window.

People took to social media in their droves to talk about the filthy back window and asked why it hadn’t been cleaned since season one.

One person questioned: “@peterkay_co_uk why is your back window always so manky? #carshare.”

“What an absolute hilarious 30 mins. Still makes me laugh how the rear window is always dirty even after it’s rained #carshare,”(sic) wrote a second.

A third added: “Love #carshare but for Christ’s sake get your bl**dy rear window cleaned @peterkay_co_uk.”

Another simply exclaimed: “The back window is still dirty! #carshare.”

Yesterday saw the return of the acclaimed series as supermarket assistant manager John Redmond (played by Peter) and promotions representative Kayleigh Kitson (Sian Gibson) continued their company car share.

Season one aired in 2015 and ended up bagging two BAFTAs for the comedian, 43, and one for Best Scripted Comedy.

The second outing consists of four episodes and sees Kayleigh travelling to work on her own, but she soon reunites with John.

Season two will see the pair getting close as they continue on their commutes and even ended up going to a safari park together with disastrous consequences thanks to some mischievous monkeys.

They will also have to deal with driving a drunken colleague home after a work event.

Peter Kay’s Car Share continues on BBC One on Tuesdays at 9pm.
