2. Now, we won’t say people ~ over reacted ~ but the snow storm prompted frantic dashes to local shops to load up on canned goods, food and – of course – everyone’s favourite winter warmer, alcohol.
There’s currently a line about 100 people deep to get inside the Trader Joe’s wine shop at Union Sq. New Yorkers have their priorities.
