Outlander plot hole: Fans fume over Claire Fraser’s glaring historical error

Based on Diana Gabaldon’s epic saga of novels, Outlander is the perfect historical drama to get swept up in as the coronavirus pandemic keeps TV fans indoors.

Available on Amazon Prime Video in the UK, the series is set to return for a sixth season, though Starz have confirmed production is currently on hold.

Now fans have been returning to some classic episodes as ‘Droughtlander’ continues once again, some unfortunate historical blunders have been uncovered.

The series has been known for tampering with history in the past, as Claire, TV’s best healer, pushes the boundaries of medical science in her new life in the 1700s.
