Our Girl series 3: Fans left BAFFLED by Georgie Lane’s ‘glam’ appearance after earthquake

At the beginning of the episode, fans saw the army medic (played by Michelle Keegan) trapped underneath rubble following an earthquake.

Georgie attempted to stay calm as she waited to be rescued by her fellow troops and encouraged aid worker Milan (Rudi Dharmalingam) to do the same.

But instead of the tense scene leaving viewers on tenterhooks, many took to social media to comment on Georgie’s “immaculate” appearance.

One person wrote on Twitter: “Still baffles me how Georgie’s makeup stays immaculate even after encountering an earthquake and being pancaked between bits of building lmao #OurGirl.”

“Now Keegan’s make up is still perfect when she’s been in an earthquake & trapped in a building. My eyebrows don’t last 2 mins #OurGirl,” another viewer added.

A third said: “A building just collapsed on Georgie yet she has no cuts or bruises and her hair & makeup on point. So unrealistic. #OurGirl.”

The third series of the BBC drama has so far followed Georgie in Nepal as she embarked on an emergency disaster relief mission after a devastating series of earthquakes.

However, many viewers haven’t been won over by the storyline and were only impressed with last night’s episode when Elvis Harte (Luke Pasqualino) returned.

One happy fan wrote: “Just so glad Elvis @lucapasqualino is back to improve the rest of series!! ‘All is well in the world’ #OurGirl.”

“The only good thing about tonight’s ep was when Elvis came back! First two eps have been awful and very boring!! #OurGirl,” said another.

A third commented: “Was just about to turn #OurGirl off for nearly sending me to sleep, that was until #Elvis appeared #Elvishassavedtheday #LukePasqualino.”

Our Girl continues next Tuesday on BBC One at 9pm.
