Once Upon a Time Sneak Peek: Tiger Lily Comes to Hook's… Rescue?

Captain Hook trades some problematic Lost Boys for a most formidable young woman, in this exclusive sneak peek from Sunday’s episode of ABC’s Once Upon a Time.

When last we tuned in, Blackbeard had left Hook (played by Colin O’Donoghue) to fend for himself after they unwittingly realm-hopped to not Storybrooke but Neverland. There, the Lost Boys give chase after Hook, determined to make him pay for what happened to their leader, Peter Pan.

Press play above to see how Tiger Lily (Native American actress Sara Tomko) inserts herself into the conflict, and why.

Describing Hook’s apparently prickly past with the Native American princess, Once co-creator Eddy Kitsis assures TVLine, “It wasn’t romantic,” noting: “If he worked for Pan, and she clearly doesn’t like Pan, she doesn’t like Hook either!”

Elsewhere in the episode, titled “Awake” and airing Sunday at 8/7c: Regina works to break the Charmings’ sleeping curse while Rumple and his mother, The Black Fairy, arrive at a fearsome impasse. In flashbacks, we learn what Snow and David sacrificed in order for Emma to fulfill her destiny as the Savior.
