Noel Fielding was asked to leave the Great British Bake Off Tent after one of his jokes failed to garner a reaction from the contestants. Matt Lucas demanded his Channel 4 co-host leave the tent when silence descended on the tent following Noel’s attempt to make his co-stars laugh at the signature bake challenge.
Matt began: “You made it you’re in the final and it’s your last ever Signature challenge.
“The judges would like you to bake eight beautiful decorated custard slices.”
“Noel, are you a fan of custard?” Matt asked.
“I love custard. I was very upset when I heard general custard had died at the battle of little creme horn,” Noel joked.

After Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood had tasted all three Signatures, Peter appeared to be in first position, followed by Dave, then Laura.
The Technical was a Walnut Whirl and once again Laura struggled to execute the tricky bake.
Dave was crowned the winner of the Technical, while the youngest ever finalist came second followed by Laura.
Ahead of the Showstopper, Matt asked whether Laura could still win the series.
