Nintendo Switch SALES NEWS: Best-selling eShop games might SHOCK you

 fans might be surprised to hear the latest games sales news.

The Nintendo Switch has been given a new update, which means users can now check out the latest eShop charts.

But fans expecting Zelda: Breath of the Wild to be sitting pretty at the top of the charts will be surprised to find out that it doesn’t even make the top 5.

In fact, as Polygon points out, Zelda: Breath of the Wild finds itself in seventh place, below the likes of Has-Been Heroes at five and The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ at six.

It’s actually Snipperclips that sits at the top of the chart, followed by Snake Pass, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and Fast RMX.

ACA NeoGeo Metal Slug, Blaster Master Zero and 1-2 Switch also make an appearance in the top ten.

Elsewhere, ACA NeoGeo Metal Slug 3, Super Bomberman R, I Am Setsuna, ACA NeoGeo The King of Fighters ’98 and World of Goo appear just outside the top ten.

The Nintendo Switch games charts will start to look very different by the time summer rolls around.

Mario Kart 8 and Puyo Puyo Tetris will both be released in April, while Street Fighter 2 is out in May.

It was recently revealed that , complete with a June 20 release date in the US and lots of bonus features.

A European release date is yet to be announced, but a UK launch is expected after the US.

And just like previous Nicalis release Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+, Cave Story+ will be released in boxed form at retail, as well as digitally via the eShop.
