New leaked pictures have emerged of the Peugeot 508 2018.
The new Peugeot is not expected to be unveiled until the Geneva Motor Show 2018 on March 6th.
The pictures have revealed the car’s fairly extensive redesign.
It retains its saloon shape but the bonnet and front-end is more muscular and dominant in design.
Both the car’s exterior and interior are on display in the leaks.
Elements of the exterior are seemingly inspired by the low-down and muscular shape of the Instinct concept that debuted in 2017.
Inside the car seems inspired by bigger vehicles such as the 3008 SUV.
The bonnet is wider and lower to the ground and features a new chrome grille which has sharper tips and is flanked by revamped headlamps.
Daytime running lights have been moved from just above the air intakes the slashes through the headlights, making way for a new diffuser and bumper.
At the rear is a futuristic strip light that stretches across the width of the boot lid.
Inside the car has been fitted with Peugeot’s i-Cockpit system which has previously been seen on a number of the company’s flagship cars including the 3008.
It replaces the instrument cluster behind the driver with a digital display and adds a large touchscreen infotainment system to the centre of the dashboard.
Engine options and performance specs are yet to be revealed, prices for the car are expected to come in a little over the current £25,340 starting price of the current model.
