Is Bruce Wayne’s journey truly and sincerely, actually beginning?
A new promo for the spring premiere of Fox’s Gotham (returning Monday, April 24) features guest star Raymond J. Barry (Justified) as a mysterious Shaman who declares that Bruce’s transformation into what Gotham needs — a protector (ideally with a cowl, but that’s just details) — is ready to commence.

Per Fox’s synopsis for the late-midseason premiere, Nygma convinces himself that he doesn’t need Penguin to succeed and begins to introduce himself to Gotham as “The Riddler,” promptly snaring Bullock and Lucius in his mind games; Gordon learns troubling news about his father’s death ;and the Court of Owls reveals its next move.
On May 1, in star Ben McKenzie’s directorial debut, and beyond, Bruce lifts the veil off the Court of Owls to find the man pulling the strings is the powerful Ra’s Al Ghul (to be played by guest star Alexander Siddig).
