Moscow police search for suspect in officer’s killing in subway

Police have launched a manhunt for a suspect in the fatal shooting of a police officer at Moscow Metro’s Kurskaya station. The unidentified perpetrator opened fire on the officer around midnight on Sunday. The victim later succumbed to his wounds. The suspect has been described in a police report as a middle aged man of an Asian or North Caucasus appearance, wearing blue jeans, grey jacket and grey cap.
