Following the Generation EQ, which debuted last year, is the EQ A pictured here. Previewing a potential compact EQ electric hatchback, the EQ A will be fully revealed at September’s Frankfurt auto show.

Under Benz’s latest naming scheme, the letter A denotes its Europe-market compact, the A-class. Hence this similar-size EQ model is graced by the same letter.

In any event, Mercedes remains mum for now on the EQ A’s particulars, including its electric drivetrain, battery size, and even what the back of it looks like. So all we can say is this: The EQ A sure looks snappy. Check back for more during the Frankfurt auto show.
