Melania Trump: First Lady resplendent after being TRAPPED in her hotel by violent protests

The stunning 47-year-old Melania Trump stepped out with her husband President Donald Trump in Hamburg today after a frightening ordeal.

The Slovenian former model had been trapped in her hotel room by violent protests raging outside.

However, the first lady didn’t appear to let the events phase her this evening.

The brunette looked beautiful in a white 1920s style flapper gown.

The dress had multiple tassels – just like gowns in the era, during which books such as the Great Gatsby are set.

Melania paired the dress with sky high white Christian Louboutin heels that appeared to be made from snake skin.

Her hair and makeup looked flawless, with her usual bouncy blow-dry intact.

Melania was left unable to leave her residence by the protests taking place today.

At least 111 police officers have been injured in clashes as they try to contain the protests.

A spokesman for the First Lady told local media: “We have not received the all-clear from police to leave the residence.”

However, it seems Melania was given the all clear – given her calm and composed appearance in Hamburg this evening.

The slinky white number is a big change from the fashion risks the first lady took during her trip to Poland

Melania’s dress looked conservative from the top, as it had a high neckline and dark navy colour.

But the skirt, which came out in large pleats, featured a bold hot pink abstract print layered over pink stripes.

The sleeveless dress came down to Melania’s mid-calf, giving it a classic, tasteful silhouette.

Melania paired the dress with a pair of deep pink suede court shoes.
