Meghan Markle’s sister SLAMS rumours of her father not walking her down the aisle

Meghan Markle’s sister, Samantha Markle, has spoken out against the recent rumours surrounding the royal wedding.

A source told E! News that Meghan, 36, wanted her mother Doria Radlan to walk her down the aisle instead of her father, Tom Markle.

Her sister has since slammed the rumours on Twitter, as seen by news.com.au, stating: “Muck about Doria walking Meg down the aisle, is NOT true.

“Our father will walk her down the aisle.”

An insider also revealed to US Weekly the royal couple are rumoured to be straying from another tradition.

The source told the publication: “The day of the wedding itself will certainly hold a few unconventional surprises.

“Don’t expect a royal wedding by numbers. They want to involve their friends and family in as much as possible throughout the day.”

It follows on from Samantha’s comments exclaiming how their father would want to walk her down the aisle.

She told US Weekly: “I’m sure he wants to walk her down the aisle. I know he wants to do it.

“He’s a shy guy now, he’s a quiet man, but he’ll speak when he feels it’s appropriate. He gave me permission to say how happy he is, but he’ll talk when he’s ready.”

Her father Thomas was reported to be “extremely hurt” following Prince Harry’s comments about the Royal Family being the family she never had.

Thomas Markle Kr, Meghan’s half-brother, explained in an interview: “My father will be extremely hurt, actually. He dedicated the majority of all his time and everything to her.”

Samantha has previously spoken out against her sister’s relationship with her royal beau, calling her a “social climber” and that it was her “ambition to become a Princess.”

She told the Sun that she was “narcissistic and selfish” after they had drifted apart.

Since then, despite her book ‘The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister’ still to be released, she has backtracked on many of her remarks and now speaks positively of the young couple.

During an interview on Good Morning Britain the day after the engagement was announced, she said the relationship was “very real and normal” and that Meghan was “overwhelmingly happy”.
