Meghan Markle: Prince Harry’s girlfriend reveals what she eats in a day

Meghan Markle, 36, has revealed what she eats in a day.

The slender Suits actress and girlfriend of Prince Harry, who is also a devotee of Eastern exercise yoga, told a food website what makes up her daily diet.

The LA-born beauty indulges in a surprising number of typically unhealthy foods, but her food routine is rather simple.

She told the site, in an article called “What actress Meghan Markle actually eats in a day” that she eats differently when she is filming and when she is not.

When the actress is filming legal drama Suits, she eats a typical Hollywood diet, including hot water with lemon when she wakes up and oats for breakfast.

She will then have a salad with protein for lunch, and for dinner she has pasta with lots of Parmesan and wine.

However, outside of filming she eats an egg omelette for breakfast with cheese, seafood for lunch and soup for dinner.

She said: “I’m always hoping I’m having lunch with people, so we can share fries. It’s its own food group for me.”

She also likes to drink green juices, a popular LA fad.

Meghan loves chips so much that she has them on her birthday every year.

The girlfriend of the fifth in line to the British throne made the tradition known on her Instagram account.

She posted a picture of a delicious looking plate of french fries, with a dash of salt, in 2012.

She added the caption: “Birthday french fries #tradition.”

Prince Harry’s girlfriend is such a fan of yoga that she claims it is in her “blood”.

Meghan Markle picked up the habit from her mother, Doria Radlan, 60, a therapist and social worker.

The premise of the 5,000 years-old exercise might seem rather Hollywood, but even the NHS endorses yoga.

“Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility, and breathing to boost physical and mental well-being,” it said.
