McDonald’s customers left FUMING after they notice THIS about the classic fries

Those choosing the popular side to eat with their “large” meal option are not happy with what they have been served.

Hundreds of Maccy D fans have shared pictures of their large box of fries – with the portion being anything but large.

Many have complained it is an often occurring problem, while others have slammed the fast food giant for “not giving customers what they’re paying for”.

One wrote: “So I ask for a large fries from McDonalds and this is what I get… large box half empty. Happens every time.”

Another chimed in: “Just got home, got my McDonald’s large fries and this is what I get, looks half empty, what am I paying for? Not cool McDonald’s, not cool”.

One joked: “Bout to sue McDonald’s cus my fries always half empty” (sic).

Many customers branded the large option a “waste of money”.

The issue isn’t just happening in the UK, with customers as far as India and the USA sharing images of their half filled box of large fries.

A McDonald’s spokesperson has responded to the reactions to the large French Fries portion sizes on social media.

They said: “There is no policy in place which suggests French Fries should be served in a carton that is anything less than full.

“Customer service and experience is one of our top priorities and we are always disappointed to hear when our food falls short of customer’s expectations and our high standards.”

If you’re concerned that your portion of fries isn’t as full as it should be, McDonald’s recommend that you complain at the point of sale or contact customer services.

The complaints about the large fries come after it was announced McDonald’s delivery is fiinally coming to the UK.

The fast food giant already delivers in countries including China and Singapore.

But now it is planning to expand its delivery operations to the UK, France, the US, Germany and Canada.

The company said with the rapid increase in food delivery services in these countries “the landscape has created an exceptional opportunity for growth”.
