Sandy managed to get the duck out on time and received a mixed reception from the guests.

Her duck was described as cooked “really, really well, but just no ‘boom’, a bit flat” by one of the judges.

After a rather tame start, Sandy needed to pull through with her dessert – and pull through she did by committing a MasterChef first.

On her menu, Sandy decided to serve a Lemon Custard Puff Pastry Lotus with Cream, Gold Foil and Rose Petals served on Bamboo Leaves.
