Lucifer season 5 spoilers: Maze star Lesley-Ann Brandt reveals why God comes to Earth

During the series’ earlier instalments, Lucifer was desperate to make a connection with his estranged father, the Creator of the Universe himself, God.

After years of refusing to answer his son’s prayers, God will finally make his physical debut on the show played by 24’s original President Dennis Haysbert.

Dennis will reunite with his former 24 co-star D. B. Woodside, who portrays God’s oldest angelic son, Amenadiel, after playing President David Palmer’s brother and Chief of Staff Wayne Palmer for the popular thriller.

During an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lucifer series regular Lesley-Ann Brandt gushed about working with the presidential star for season five.
