Lady Amelia Windsor: Who is the model member of the Royal Family and heir to the throne?

Lady Amelia Windsor, 22, is one of the youngest and most beautiful of the Royal Family.

The daughter of Dr. Sylvana Tomaselli and the Earl of St Andrews, George Windsor, Amelia is 36th in line to the throne.

Her father is the eldest son of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, the first cousin of the Queen.

She is the only one of her siblings to be in the line of succession, as her brother and sister are both confirmed as Catholics, so are excluded under the Act of Settlement 1701.

A graduate of the University of Edinburgh, Lady Amelia shares her travels on social media, and unusually for a royal, has a public Instagram account.

The aristocratic blonde made her catwalk debut at the Dolce & Gabbana show during Milan Fashion Week earlier this year.

And it seems she is taking her career in fashion seriously, telling Miss Vogue in January: “I would love to make a contribution to any aspect behind the creative process.

“On my year abroad I want to really further my understanding of every aspect of a fashion house: from the making of the fabrics to the production of a catwalk show.”

Tatler dubbed her the “most beautiful member of the royal family” when she graced their April 2016 cover, and she has certainly gained a legion of fans, with 24,000 followers on Instagram.

Despite her royal connections, she is keen to come across as down to earth, eschewing her title and calling herself simply “Mel Windsor” on her social media account.

As well as fashion, Amelia loves travel, and has shared images from luxurious holidays around the globe.

Born in Cambridge, it is not clear how much time she has spent with the more prominent members of the royal family – particularly as Prince Harry and Prince William are more than a decade older than her.

While Lady Amelia Spencer’s star is rising, she is not one of the most photographed women of the Royal Family just yet.

At the moment, that honour goes to Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Meghan Markle, who is set to join the royals when she marries Prince Harry next year.

When she does become a full time royal, what will Meghan Markle do?

There are many elements of protocol that will dictate how Meghan spends her time, and how she behaves when she is representing the royals in public.
