Kimmy Schmidt Sneak Peek: Titus Plays It Straight (!) to Woo Jacqueline

Look out, ladies of New York: “Cork Rockingham” is on the prowl.

In this first-look clip from Season 3 of Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (debuting next Friday, May 19), the ever-flamboyant Titus (Tituss Burgess) stuffs himself back in the closet to play the role of “Cork Rockingham,” a totally straight dude with a totally straight voice who’s totally into Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski). The tiny red bowtie he’s wearing is a bit of a giveaway, though.

It seems this is all a ruse for the benefit of Duke (guest star Josh Charles), the rich-jerk brother of Jacqueline’s new love Russ Snyder (David Cross), who also has his eye on Jacqueline. After she and “Cork” admit to a night of fiery passion at the Foxwoods Casino, Duke steps in and confesses his own feelings. And Jacqueline can’t decide between them: “You’re both exactly my type.”

To break the tie, she orders her two suitors to dance for her. And Titus dances a little too well… until Jacqueline reminds him that he’s “Cork” now, and he settles for imitating Duke’s white-guy gyrations. Which involve some kind of spanking? Yeah, we’re as confused as Titus is.
