The presenting pair seemed to have clicked during their stint on the ITV show whilst Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid take their summer holiday, and after a long weekend apart, Jeremy and Kate couldn’t have appeared happier to see each other again.
The controversial 52-year-old told Kate: “I missed you over the weekend,” to which the blonde beauty excitedly replied: “I missed you too!”
Kate, 50, couldn’t resist stroking his arm as she has been doing all throughout GMB last week, telling viewers: “It’s a kind of love stroke.”
Poor newsreader Sean Fletcher appeared to be third-wheeling the scenes, telling the pair: “There’s something going on here – do you want me to go?”
Further on in the show, Jeremy attempted to do a mock DNA test on Kate and Sean to see if she was his mother.
Sean joked: “It’s like being with mum and dad here, with you two!”
Clearly unable to shake the day job, Jeremy quipped: “We will go for a DNA test ladies and gentleman to see if that’s possible.”
The woman in question squealed back to her co-host: “I think there are a couple of clues that might give it away!”
Without taking time to wait, Jeremy told anticipated viewers: “Hold on a second, I can confirm that Sean, [Kate] you are NOT his biological mum.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV from 6am.
