JURASSIC PARK comes to the UK? Brand new animatronic DINOSAUR attraction hits Britain

Dinosaurs in the Wild is a multi-million pound entertainment experience that’s hitting the UK this summer.

Combining a theme park, theatrical elements and breakthrough science, this interactive attraction from the creators of the BBC’s Walking With Dinosaurs is designed to give visitors a truly prehistoric experience.

It will include live sets and advanced animatronic dinosaurs so you can make-believe you’re a character in a Hollywood film.

Features will include the Pathology Laboratory, which holds an array of unusual dinosaur specimen

One of these is Purgatorius, the very first human ancestor – a tiny squirrel-like creature which lived in trees in the Late Cretaceous period, 67 million years ago.

Visitors can also marvel at scientifically researched examples of dinosaur teeth and dinosaur tissues, such as a full dinosaur arm.

There will be nine dinosaurs in the mix, including a Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, Alamosaurus and the club-tailed Ankylosaurus.

There will also be non-dinosaur prehistoric creatures on show, including the whale-sized Prognathodon and the flying Quetzalcoatlus.

Palaeontologist Dr Darren Naish has worked closely with the creative and production teams to advise on every aspect of the science within the experience, ensuring that it reflects the latest discoveries about dinosaurs.

The experience will be open to the public from Saturday 24 June 2017 at Birmingham’s NEC.

Visitors can catch it there until 24 August, and then at Manchester’s Eventcity from 7 October to 7 January 2018.

The experience takes around 70 minutes and tickets cost £29.50 for an adult entry and £26 for a child (those aged from three to 15 years).

This comes after Express.co.uk reported that a UK company has launched Titanic wreck-diving holidays.

London-based Blue Marble Private will take groups of nine at a time, on an adventure deep under water.

Spanning a length of eight days, the pioneering journey will depart from the coast of Newfoundland, heading 370 miles to the wreckage.

Tourists will reach depths of 12,500ft in a purpose-built titanium and carbon fibre submersible.
