Retailer John Lewis dropped massive hint about its Christmas advert on Twitter this morning, saying cryptically: “We’ll soon be sharing our Christmas ad with you right here on Twitter, stay tuned…”
The Moz the Monster advert later dropped after much anticipation from fans and plenty of teasing.
John Lewis’ Christmas campaign featured a heartwarming tale of a boy called Joe, who is kept awake by a 7ft imaginary monster called Moz living under his bed.
It is soundtracked by a slowed-down cover version of a classic Beatles track.

The Christmas advert’s theme was leaked early yesterday when John Lewis stores across the country accidentally shared a little teaser with fans.
Two letters in the logo of the Cardiff and Liverpool store windows mysteriously changed into Moz’s eyes.
A new Twitter account under the name of @UnderTheBed2017 popped up a couple of days ago and shared a teaser video for the new advert.
Even though the profile apparently had no official affiliation to John Lewis, fans flocked in their thousands to the four-second clip of some eyes looking around, believing it to be the first clue at what to expect.
