Jeep’s New Easter Safari Concepts: Desert Racer, Remixed Wagoneer, and More!

As the normally sleepy desert town of Moab, Utah, feverishly gears up for the 2018 edition of the annual Easter Jeep Safari, the Jeep brand has taken the wraps off its now customary cadre of concept vehicles for the off-road celebration. This year’s theme? Why, the new-for-2018 JL-spec Jeep Wrangler, of course. Several examples have been chopped, stretched, and loaded up with heaps of equipment—or, in some cases, stripped of nearly half a ton of standard kit—in a bid for attention as some of the 2018 Safari’s main attractions. Other Jeep models also received Easter Safari makeovers, including a Renegade crossover and a vintage Wagoneer. Like the other concepts past and present, they’re all fully drivable and properly outfitted for desert trail work.
