James Bond SHOCK: The REAL reason Daniel Craig is returning? ‘He DIDN’T want to come back’

The 49-year-old star has confirmed he will return for a fifth and final movie.

The 25th official 007 movie is set for release in November 2019, with Craig claiming on The Late Show that he was always going to do it.

But was that really the case? According to NY Daily News, an insider on the Bond star’s return claims he was really done.

They said: “MGM and [Craig] had not spoken for over a year. Daniel said he was done, he meant it. [Producer Barbara Broccoli said he wasn’t, she meant it.”

The insider continued: “Sure, the financial deal was interesting. He was very proud [of] that [13 year] milestone.

Apparently it was the promise that Craig would “make history” by beating Sir Roger Moore’s record tenure as Bond, that persuaded the actor.

The insider added: “While publicly Daniel has been playing it cool, behind the scenes, this whole matter has been very intense.

“He did not want to come back and felt Spectre was a fitting farewell.”

Last week another alleged insider claimed that

They claimed: “It was enough for Craig to decide as he was apparently the last person he wanted to take the role after himself.”

James Bond 25 will be released in UK cinemas in early November 2019.
